Single Car Family

Today marks the end of week 2 of being a single car family. We've had our awesome little truck for two years now and in the last month or so it has decided to start nickel and diming us to death. It would be okay if we knew how to repair cars ourselves, but we don't, so we're selling the thing for $700. Interested? Let me know. It just needs a new water pump (for now, anyway . . .). We don't mind if it takes us awhile to sell it because it isn't costing us anything, so we're happy to wait until the new owners come along (maybe after everyone gets their tax refunds?)

Anyway, being a single car family is not something we could have pulled off when Tim was working at Eide Bailly, but now it only takes about 5-10 minutes to drive to his office and his hours are more regular (we are especially appreciative of this right now during the dreaded busy season for public accountants everywhere--sorry Kim). I actually love taking Tim to work because it helps us all get going in the morning and he's home when I'm making dinner. It really feels like we have more time together and this makes me so very very happy.

Happy weekend, everyone!
