A farewell party for summer

We decided to send summer out with a splash (when the kids go back to school, it feels like summer is officially over whether the seasonal calendar agrees or not). Tim's parents had given us tickets to a fun water park called Roaring Springs, so we headed over there for the day and had a really nice time. They have a great kiddy area and it was really fun to watch Marcus enjoy the slides and the other water toys they have. This tube slide (above) was one of his favorites.

Big smiles.

Because we got into the park for free (thanks again, Bryon and Ann!!), we decided it was okay to splurge on outrageously priced ice cream treats. Smurf boy really enjoyed his.

24 weeks!

Glad you had a fun outing! You look great and so does Marcus even with his blue face. Were you able to get in the water at all? What did Tim do during your outing?

Tim had Friday off, so he was with us. Yep, I did get in the water, but I was able to rest in the shade and watched. Tim spent most of the time with Marcus.

I love the smile picture of Marcus. He is such a fun little boy. I can't wait to see pictures of him as a big brother! It looks like you had a fun day and I must say you look adorable!

Thanks for your comments on CJ's cake. It was a fun party! His cousins loved eating from trucks!

yay for the belly! It will be so fun when Josh can enjoy that kind of thing. Looks like fun. Yeah, that was warren and jodi's place. I loved it. They redid the whole thing--inside and out-and it is adorable. Great area too. To answer your question, I have a nikon D80. I also edit the pictures in photoshop. Thanks for writing. :) We're so excited for you guys!
