7 months

Zachy is 7 months old! I love this age because he is really showing us his personality and we are finally settling into a good sleep schedule with regular naps and no middle of the night feedings (hooray!) His eyes are still big and blue and he is still bald. I love his cheeks. His biggest accomplishment since last month is that he is a champion sitter-upper now :)

Zachy likes:
grabbing Mom's hair (whenever I am holding him his little hand sneaks around and grabs hold of the back of my head where my hair is nice and thick--it doesn't hurt, I think it's a comfort thing for him)
Graham crackers (He really enjoys feeding himself)
food (he gets excited when we put him in his high chair and he sees us get his little baby bowl out--I love that he recognizes cues and knows that A is followed by B is followed by C and so forth--its the same way with his naps. He starts snuggling me when we go in and turn on his humidifier and close the blinds etc.)
SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! (He goes to bed between 6:30 and 7:00 and gets up 12 hours later. Totally awesome.)

naps (we've settled into a good routine. He takes a morning nap around 9 until 11 and then an afternoon nap around 1 until about 3) It is really wonderful to have this schedule finally settling into a routine.

Zachy doesn't like:
bananas (WHAT?!!)
the second and third hour of church (we have 11:00 church which makes his afternoon nap impossible and this makes him grumpy)
being left alone for even one minute. For example: he was sitting in the living room surrounded by fun toys. I called the boys into another room to help clean up. One minute later we heard Zachy hollering because he'd realized he was alone. The kid is a social butterfly.

missing naps (like my other kids, he likes his routine and struggles a bit when we don't follow it)
