We've lived in our house for 5 years now and 4 of those years have been spent serving in the Young Women's program in my ward. Originally I was called as the Laurel advisor, but the past three years have been spent in the YW presidency. I was released today. I've known for a few weeks that this was going to happen but when they made it all official today it still felt a little weird and a little sad. I've been called to serve as one of the compassionate service leaders and that means I'm back in Relief Society. I'm looking forward to working with and learning from these older sisters. It's going to be so strange to have my Wednesday's free (that's our mutual night), but I think this is going to be a very good thing for my little family. I've learned a lot from the girls and the leaders and I'll miss working so closely with them--they are all wonderful and I am a better person because of them.

I earned my Medallion!!! Young Women leaders are encouraged to work on Personal Progress (the program for the teenage girls in the LDS church) and I did it. I received it today. I earned my first one when I was a teenager in the program and now I have one from my experience serving as a leader. While the program may be designed for the youth, I really felt like it was a blessing to me in my current stage of life and I'm glad I took the challenge.

I've started running again. More on that later, but it feels good and I am happy to be exercising again. I'm looking forward to this helping me continue to lose the weight (10 lbs to pre-pregnancy weight!) but more importantly I'm looking forward to feeling like my body is strong. My friend and I have already picked out a 5k we're going to run in the fall :)

Tim took the boys to Fathers and Sons camp out this weekend. It was the first year he took the twins with him because he said, "I'll take them when they are potty trained." Well, potty trained they are! Oh my goodness I have never seen them so excited. They couldn't stop talking about camping and tents and hiking and tents and sleeping in tents and hotdogs and tents. I think they all had a good time and if this can be measured by how dirty they were when they got home then they had a REALLY good time. As soon as Owen got home he wanted to hold baby Zachy. Zach must have missed Owen, too, because he let Owen hold him for longer than the usual 30 seconds before he started crying.

Eli gave Tim the best Father's Day present. He actually went up during the little Primary song in Sacrament meeting and stood in the very front and smiled and waved and even sort of sang. I may or may not have almost passed out from shock.
