Warm weather list

The warm weather has arrived and we are enjoying it to the FULLEST. Here is a short list of how to enjoy warm weather to the FULLEST (see above picture for a visual example of some of the following list).
  1. Wear only underwear. Pants or shorts are not necessary.
  2. Eat ice cream. Make sure to smear it all over the face for added coolness (in every sense of the word.)
  3. Play in the dirt (or take a dirt bath).
  4. Swim in the kiddie pool in the backyard. Make sure to wash all your dirty trucks in the clean pool water. Then make sure to tell your mom that the water is "dirty" and you need "new water." Do this repeatedly.
  5. Dress little babies only in onesies. This is both practical and adorable.
  6. Go to the park for picnic lunches with your cousins and friends.
  7. Go on lots of walks to look at all the pretty flowers (dandelions) and make sure to pick lots of those pretty flowers.
  8. Pee outside. "Pee rainbows" are awesome.
  9. Find lots of sticks and try to take them inside. Insist they are special when mom says that sticks do NOT go in the house. Never give up on trying to smuggle that stick into the house.
  10. Smile (and make sure to blame your brother when mom hears someone turn on the hose.)
Happy warm weather, everyone!

Ok so why is he wearing a bib? He's mostly naked and totally filthy and in a sand box.

LOVE it!! Sounds like a great way to enjoy the warm weather, I am planning on going to the pool hopefully every afternoon this summer! :) If I can find a swimming suit that fits me!

Jenny: Yes, that's my parenting style in a nutshell. I start off caring and then end up thinking "oh well." I'm all about raising happy kids, not clean kids. Ha. Sometimes I'm also about raising kids who listen, not kids who are happy. Hmm, sounds like my parenting theories might be all over the place and thus we see (thanks Mormon for that lovely turn of phrase) that I'm back to "oh well" again.

Alecia: You are brave. I don't even like to come within 10 feet of a swimsuit when I'm pregnant ;)

You sound like you've got being a mom to boys all figured out and it sounds like lots of fun.
