I love it when people post lists of their favorite books read during the past year--it gives me so many books to look forward to reading in the upcoming year. Here is my contribution: a list of some of my favorite reads from 2011. And for those who have been following my reading history in 2011 via my Goodreads sidebar, fear not! I am going to do it again in 2012. It was really fun for me to go back and look at all that I'd read this past year and what I did and didn't like. I read 34 books in 2011 and only eight of those books got a 5 star rating from me. It seems that this year most of those 5 star ratings went to the classics. Go figure, I guess classics are probably called classics for a reason :) Also, 5 of my 5 star books were books I'd read previously. Here is a list of my 5 star babies. Think of it as a late Christmas present from one happy reader to another. Kisses.
