On Christmas day we had church at 9:00 in the AM, so we decided that we wouldn't open presents until we got home (it was just sacrament meeting which meant we'd be home by 10:30). My friend gave me the idea to hang a sheet up in the doorway of our living room so the kids wouldn't be able to see the magic of Santa until we got home and so that is exactly what we did. That morning when Marcus saw the sheet in our dimly lit entryway he excitedly looked at me and said, "Mom, Santa is magic! How did he get that sheet to stay up?!" then he looked a little closer and said, "Oh, never mind, he used the big tape."Santa may be magic but he is also practical.
