Not a fan
Don't be fooled by the grin on his face, Eli does NOT like fireworks. After the sparklers we broke out the poppers--a kid favorite, right? Eli started shouting, "Inside! Inside!" I finally took him in the house until the poppers were gone, then I brought him back out for the fountains. "Inside! Inside!" he shouted after only two of them. Poor guy.
Then yesterday we were filling up water balloons for a party tonight and I noticed he was hovering pretty close to me as I paid some bills on the computer. After I finished, I went outside to help and realized that Eli was scared of the water balloons. "No pop it," is what he kept saying.
Poor kid, typical summer fun just doesn't seem to fly with him.

Poor Eli! He is just a sensitive guy! That will come in handy with the ladies later on in life! :)
I didn't realize he was scared of the noisy stuff. I know Marcus had to overcome some of that when he was younger. Love you Eli:)
