REALLY!?

My mom and I have a running joke that comes up in our phone conversations. I like to think of it as the Really!? joke. It comes from this SNL skit that I watched back when I was pregnant with the twins--that was the first time I saw it, but it's been a running joke with SNL, too. Here's a link. Anyway, today was a Really!? sort of day for me. First it was when the babies lost the remote to the dvd player. I've looked everywhere and it still hasn't appeared. Then they spilled Marcus's water bottle all over the table and floor. But the Really!? really came when they made their way into my bathroom and dumped out my large bottle of AVEDA shampoo (not cheap, people) all over the floor and into the toilet. Oh, and then Marcus said, "Mom, Owen hurt his mouth." No, actually, he drank some of the shampoo and now he doesn't like the taste. I had to help him rinse out his mouth and then he puked and then I had to clean that up, too. All before nap time. Really!
