Women's Conference

This past weekend I flew down to Utah to attend Women's Conference at BYU. My mom and I have tried to make this a tradition and this was our third time attending. It's always a wonderful time filled with spiritual guidance from LDS church leaders, yummy food (though I have to say that I REALLY missed the Costa Vida salads--sorry, Bajio, you just didn't cut it), and girl talk with my mom. Tim is so great because he took Thursday and Friday off from work so that he could be with the boys while I was gone. I love you, Tim!

It was a little rainy and cold while we were there, but even in bad weather, BYU has one of the most beautiful campuses. I'm so glad I could attend school there--good times, though I did tell my mom that I am so glad to be done!! A lot of stressful experiences took place on that campus.

My mom had some stressful school experiences of her own while attending school here, but look! It sure paid off because now her picture will forever hang in the halls of the Law School building.

My cousin, Rachelle, flew down with me to attend the conference with her sisters. We met up again on Friday night and then spent Saturday together. As you can see, she knows how to have a good time :)

I also got to spend some time with with family (Dad, Rhonda, Emma, Alecia) and this sweet little miss, my niece, Emery. She had just woken up in this picture so we didn't get a smile, but isn't she adorable? She's about the same age as my boys.

So precious!

Lovely!

It's already on my calendar for next year--and Emma, we want you there!

Glad you had a wonderful time with your mom. I have been once or twice & I really enjoyed it. That was several years ago when we lived in Gooding & all my kids were still in school (high school on down).
