Here are some pictures of the new chair with the slipcover I picked out and my mother lovingly purchased at IKEA for me (I paid her back--or rather, my brother who owes me money is going to pay it to her instead--good luck, mom). On the chair is my favorite boy ever. I'm still getting used to this new look in my living room, but I think I really like it. Everything else is solid, solid, solid so it is nice to have a little pattern to break things up a bit.

Oh, that looks so great. I can't wait to sit on it next time I make it up there! He is one of my favorite boys too. I can't wait to see him again. Are you guys coming down for Tyler's birthday party?
We won't be able to make it down for Tyler's party (Tim's busy season) but we will be down for my mom's graduation. See you then!!

That's a cute chair! Ikea is great. Ryan and I went there a couple weeks ago and bought a rolling pin, a big mug, dish scrubbers and a garlic press for like $16! Great deals!
I am lovin' the chair and the slipcover! It seems like whenever I purchase a slipcover for something it never fits quite right. That one looks like it was made for it. I also don't like a lot of the couches and chairs from IKEA because they have such low backs, but that one actually looks comfortable. Now you have a nice, comfy place to sit and read your next book!
