We had quite the adventure on Monday when we tried to see Matt Damon. He comes to Boise for a special premiere every time there's a new Bourne movie. I guess the first director has some property here and Matt Damon (and I quote) thinks that Boise is, "Beautiful." Yes, yes it is, Matt, and it is made that much more beautiful by your presence.Anyway, they had the red carpet at 5:00 but we couldn't be downtown by then so we thought we'd catch him after the movie. By we I mean our family, my cousin Rachelle, her husband, their two boys, and my other cousin's wife. We were quite the group. We got to the theater and were told that there would be a VIP reception around the corner at the swanky Rose Room, so we thought we'd catch him there. No luck. Apparently, we found out, there is a back entrance and that was what he was going to use, so we went back to the theater hoping that we'd spot him. Our efforts and scrambling around town on the hunt for Matt were finally rewarded when we spotted three black suburbans with tinted windows heading our way. They stopped at the stop light and there, ten mere feet away, was Matt Damon. He smiled and he waved and I'm sure he was about to get out and kiss our children and sign autographs but just then the light turned green and he was off to his party. It was awesome.

Don't tell Mike but when I saw the picture, I thought, "Wow. He really is good looking!" I'm glad you got to have him wave at you.
Oh my gosh Katie. That would be my dream to have Matt wave at me. He is like the hottest guy ever. Luckily Taylor is fine with my little crush :)
Ha ha...that is awesome. You should come to Park City in January, there are lots of celebrity sightings then. Matt Damon, *sigh*. Give me a moment...

OK. I'm back.
Mike and I are going to see Bourne Ultimatum tonight, and I can't wait. The Bourne movies are nothing like the books, but definitely fabulous in their own right. Love you Matt! XOXO
