Because life is all about timing . . . or in our case, the lack thereof

So, we're really hoping to close on our house tomorrow afternoon and I am using the word "hoping" on purpose because the sellers, and I think more specifically the seller's realtor, are taking their sweet little time getting the things that we requested fixed. Luckily we have the most fabulous inspector ever and he has come out very nicely each time and checked their work and said, "Yes." or "No, they did a crappy job." and we have loved him for that (and he doesn't charge to do reinspections though really there should only have to be one reinspection) I guess our sellers didn't get the memo on that little piece of priceless information.

And guess what lovely thing happened this week? Just guess. Our car had some issues that turned into major issues and major means expensive. So the week we hopefully close on our house is the week we have to fork out lots of money to fix our car. Good thing money grows on trees . . . oh wait, that's apples. Crap.

It always seems like that happens, huh? Just think about how wonderful it will be to be in your new house and hopefully when the car gets fixed you won't have to worry about it breaking again anytime soon. I always think that when things get crappy it means there are great things just around the corner. Hang in there.

Congratulations on the house! What part of Boise is it in. We would LOVE to move back to Boise.

I was just thinking yesterday about how when it rains it pours. Good luck with the next few days.
