Boo at the Zoo

On Saturday, we put Marcus in his little frog costume and headed for the zoo. They were having a day-long Halloween Extravaganza, and we went trick or treating and saw the animals--heck, we dressed up like animals! There were a million people there (no, I am NOT exaggerating) but we still had a great time and were able to get some candy. Once Marcus finally got the idea that people were giving him yummy treats, he really got into the swing of things. Tim was pretty unhappy about the whole parking experience, but once he got some candy, he got into the swing of things too.

This is my favorite picture from the day. There are two reasons for this: Reason one- Marcus smiled and looked so cute just at the moment I managed to take the picture. Reason two-They were charging $5 on the other side of the zoo for pictures just like this. Ha! I found my own straw and pumpkin set-up for free!

Here's an example of when I miss that magical photographer moment. sigh. I still think it makes for a funny picture though. What a cute little frog.

Frog-boy returns to the lake from whence he came.

Yet another free picture that turned out pretty well. Happy Halloween, everyone. I'll post some video in the next day or so. It is sooo funny to watch a little frog-boy walk around. he he he.

Katie, I'm glad you were able to go play at the zoo. We took the boys to the zoo here and loved it. Isn't Halloween fun?!

Adrianne: I saw your zoo pics, very fun. Yep, I love Halloween. Tonight we have a Tri-Ward Trunk or Treat. It'll be fun to see everyone in their costumes :)

Good to hear from you, Lynn. I hope everything is going well in Wyoming. Has it snowed yet?
