This morning I took Marcus in to Dr. B for his 15 month well-baby visit. First, let me just say that this is the last time that I schedule an appt. for 9:00 am. I freely and openly admit that I am not a morning person and Marcus is the slowest breakfast eater in the world (or at least in Boise). Needless to say, we were late.
First thing on the agenda: weighing and measuring. Here's where my teensy weensy bit of exaggeration comes into play. A few entries back I mentioned that Marcus weighed nearly 30 pounds. Okay, I guess I should now clarify that he really only weighs 24 pounds and 10 ounces. However, he feels like he weighs 30. Whatever. Anyway, that puts him in the 60th percentile for weight and at 32 inches he's in the 80th percentile for height. Tim was thrilled about this last measurement seeing as he is currently mapping out Marcus's athletic future. No, I am not kidding.

I'm glad to hear that Jeff isn't the only one planning out our children's athletic futures. He says he married a tall girl so he could get football/basketball players. And I'm not joking either. ;)
Lexi-Tim says the SAME thing. I wonder what Emily and Andee's husband say . . .
Wait, didn't he used to be really tiny for his age? It's so funny how those percentiles can shift around as babies grow into toddlers.
This doesn't really relate to your post, but I'm bummed you removed your favorite books list. I was planning on using it when I needed a good book to read. And I do love Marcus's costume.
24 pounds, 30 pounds...After 20 it's all the same. Heavy. But at least he's tall too.
