Richey Family Vacation 2006

Tim had a week of vacation between his internship ending and school starting, so we decided to take advantage of this and go on a vacation. As starving students, our options were rather limited, so eventually we decided to explore our own state of Idaho and we headed north to Couer d'Alene, a place we'd always heard was beautiful and where neither of us had ever been. We made a road trip of it and had really great time. Enjoy the pics!

We spent our first night in Clarkston, WA with Keith and Julie (thanks, again!) and our next two nights at Wolf Lodge RV camp in this great little cabin. Tim was our fire man and Marcus was our hot-dog-eating-man. Have I ever mentioned how much I love smores? Because I do.

We also went to Spokane, WA because it is only 30 min from Couer d'Alene. It took us awhile (and some heated words, we hate getting lost) but eventually we did find the temple. Lovely. We also stopped at the cool Riverfront Park and had a picnic.

Looks like fun. We are trying to plan a vacation to Galveston, Texas. Your pictures renewed my desire to go.

GO!!!! And then post some pictures so we can all feel like we went too :)

I just know if I'd gone on a mission I would have been one of those crazy missionaries who created some sort of all-night slide show for my family to sit through. Thanks for looking at my vacaction slide show . . . errr blog.

It looks like you had a fun vacation. we're trying to plan a weekend in Logan, just to remember. I hope my kids are as easy going as yours seems to be.

Aub-don't be fooled. We just chose to post only the GOOD pictures. We're all about selective memories :)
