At the Appaloosa (it's the state horse) museum in Moscow. Actually, one of the coolest things in this city was the sorority and fraternity houses around the University of Idaho campus. They were these HUGE mansions and I really wish I'd taken some pictures. I'm talking crazy huge.
These pictures were taken above Hell's Canyon at a place called Heaven's Gate. The views were amazing and we got to test out our new Marcus transporation device ie. the backpack. He liked it, and Tim swore that it felt like he wasn't carrying anything (tough guy). Anyway, while we were up there enjoying the sights, the mountain caught fire. I'm serious. I have pictures of the smoke jumpers to prove it. They landed 20 feet from us. Awesome.
