I'll never have trouble remembering the day that Marcus first pulled himself to a standing position--it was on my very first Mother's Day! Yep, he is interested in standing now. He gets a real kick out of it and so do we. I just hope this doesn't mean he'll be walking
really soon. He's already busy enough as it is. On another note, Marcus has contracted some kind of horrible illness. I've checked all my baby books and I can't seem to find information about it anywhere which leads me to think that we might be making some kind of scientific breakthrough. I call this terrible illness . . . Puke-on-mom-itis. Basically, it means that Marcus has a stomach bug and the only time that he throws up is when I (the mother) am holding him. Has anyone else experienced puke-on-mom-itis? I really think it should be included in
What to Expect the First Year and other popular baby books.

Savvy got pukondaditis once, but never me. I think because Heavenly Father knows I would give her away if she did that. Good luck
Jen--I'll have to make sure and include the unique strain of pukondaditis in my new baby book:
Things They Don't Tell You About Your Baby in the Popular Baby Books
(okay, I'm working on the title. Suggestions?)
Alecia--we'll have to keep an eye out for other possible variations in this horrible, terrible, smelly, and highly disgusting illness. May it never escalate into puke-on-auntie-itis.
I think a great title would be 'All the things that people who don't have nannies should know about parenting.' or something to that effect. Also, when did you get a sewing machine you lucky girl?
Jen, I'll take your title suggestion into serious consideration. Also, my mother-in-law has two sewing machines, so she's letting me use her old one. My curtains are looking really nice. White eyelet. I'll put up some pictures when I get them finished and hung.
