My grandma and grandpa Durrant celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Monday night. The entire family surprised them with a party/dinner at Magleby's. My mom called us a few weeks ago and offered to fly us down for the weekend so that we could attend. 40 minutes of flying sure beats 6 hours of driving. My mom is currently living in my grandparents basement while she attends law school, so we were a little worried that my grandparents would be suspicious. They weren't. They just figured we were visiting because of the three day weekend. He he he. Their night started out with a limo. The dinner was delicious and my Aunt Sarah put together an amazing powerpoint of their courtship and then all the pictures of their family through the years. It was so great. After the party, Tim and I got to ride home in the limo. I'd never been in one before, so that was great fun!!
