7 for Valentine's Day

 1.
Baby Zachy. Tim's comment the other night made me laugh. I was snuggling Zach and telling Tim all the adorable things he'd done that day and Tim said with a smile, "You aren't supposed to have a favorite, Katie."

2.
Reading with Marcus every night. I love watching this kid learn and enjoy school. We just read Love That Dog and now we are reading Hate That Cat--both by Sharon Creech. The books are filled with poetry and it is fun to watch Marcus eat it up.

3.
Eli's hair.

4.
Owen's big, tender heart all wrapped up in his rough and tumble bouncy boy body.

5.
Netflix. I am watching the first season of Once Upon a Time right now and I am really liking it. In fact, it's a little bit addictive :) It's so nice to have all these shows and movies right at my fingertips.

6.
Tim. What can I say without getting all mushy? He is my perfect match and I love him. Raising 4 little boys can be stressful, exhausting work and I couldn't ask for a better partner. I think if I could say something about Tim it would be that he cares. He cares about me. He cares about our family. He cares about our goals. He cares about his job. He cares about his calling in our ward. And he cares about his relationship with our Heavenly Father.

7.
Just as I was finishing this post, a friend stopped by with a Valentine treat for me. That leads me to my last item on my Love List. Friends, family, teachers, examples. I am surrounded by good people who are going about doing good things--brightening their little corners of the world. I love them and I love the example of good that they are to me. They make me want to be a better friend, mom, wife, daughter, sister, and woman. Hooray for people who love.

Happy Valentine's Day!

What a great post!! I have to say that I think whoever is the baby in the family at the time is the favorite. Babies are just too adorable! Tyson always seems to roll his eyes when I give into Kellen's fake little cry. I can't help it. I see that face and I can't help but swoop him up and love him to pieces. He can almost do no wrong. :)
