Our computer is still broken, but we're taking it to our computer guy tonight and hopefully he will be able to save it. So, no pics for this post--just some updates and a few funny stories.
Zach Update: I took Zach in today for his 2 month dr visit and he is still our little chubby bubby. He weighed in at 13.7 lbs which puts him in the 78th percentile and is 24 inches long which is about the 68th percentile. He is still so cuddly and adorable and he is liking his baths now, too.
Eli story:
I was getting ready for church yesterday and was in the bathroom putting on my makeup. Eli (my sidekick) was standing on the toilet looking at my necklaces when he came across the one Tim brought me from Guam.
Eli: "Where is this one from?"
Me: "Guam."
Eli: "Mom?"
Me: "No, Guam."
Eli: "Mom?"
Me: No, Eli, not Mom. Guam."
Eli: "Oh, Guam."
Me: "Yes."
Eli: "So, not Walmart?"
Marcus story:
If you know Marcus, you know he is obsessed with a show on PBS kids called "Wild Kratts." He gets to watch it everyday after he gets home from school. Usually, it seems like it only has reruns but last week there was a new episode about various wild cats including one called a Caracal. I have never heard of this animal before, have you? Anyway, it has big ears and there was one on the show named "Hang-time." Marcus dug around his toy box and came up with a raggedy old stuffed bunny that is no longer a bunny but a caracal named Hang-time. The ears are just the right size and Marcus just chooses to ignore the white fluffy tail. It works perfectly.
Owen story:
It's a little drizzly today, but the boys put on hats and went out to play anyway. At one point I looked out to see Owen sitting in a hole in our dirt box, rubbing dirt all over himself. I opened the door and called out, "Owen, what are you doing?" to which he replied, "I'm having a dirt bath."
Of course, why did I even ask?
