(Can you believe Marcus was ever that little? He was nearly 2 when we took this picture.)Once upon a time (5 years ago) we bought a house with a green kitchen. It had a green floor, a green fridge, a green stove, a green counter top and it even had a green sink. It was super stylish 1970's era awesome. Unfortunately, it was no longer 1970, but 2007 and sadly, it had gone from "wowsa" to "yowsa" --ha, ha, I am awesome :)
Right away we got rid of the green floor and the green fridge and the sink held on into 2008 before we were able to do away with it.
But the stove and the counter stayed and stayed and stayed.
Until this past week.
That's when we said farewell to any last remaining green in our kitchen.
Hooray!

Nice work! Your hair doesn't coordinate as nicely with your kitchen now though, so that's a bummer.
