It finally snowed here and my boys could not be more thrilled. Owen and Eli spent an hour outside this morning and then polished off two cups of hot chocolate at lunch. Marcus wanted to wear his snow pants to school. I said no to that one, but yes to the gloves, vest, and snow boots. He kept telling me that he needed to wear lots of layers. We compromised.
I'm not a big snow person myself, but it does look pretty outside right now, and I'm happy for my kids. I just hope it doesn't stick around too long or get much worse because my mom is planning to drive here when I have the baby and she is petrified of driving in bad snowy weather. I am not exaggerating when I use the word "petrified." Just ask her about Christmas two years ago and she will find a corner to start rocking in because it was just that traumatic. Poor, Mom.
So, hooray for snow now, but maybe not so much later :)

Thanks for the visual. But it was two snow storms that put the fear into me.
Love you - Mom
Kathryn I don't blame you a bit! I'm the same way, gripping the steering wheel. I hope the roads are clear for you! Can't wait for baby.
Lol I've been thinking about that as well
We will be praying for snow in the mountains & off the roads--all roads!
