Owen and Eli

I know, I know, I've already used this picture on my blog but it is just so dang cute and I love looking at it. Plus, it seemed like a good one to use for this quick post. The boys had their 3-year-old well check-up with Dr. C and I wanted to post their stats for my own records and for the enjoyment (ha) of my family.

Owen: 38 lbs and 38 inches tall--this puts him in the 93rd percentile
Eli: 34 lbs and 37 inches tall--this puts him in the 71st percentile

Also, for any moms out there who are reading this and hoped to find more than just stats on my boys, I just read a great post on another blog and wish I had written it because I agree wholeheartedly with its message. You can find it here. Happy reading!

Amen to that! My goal is to like something about my day, not the entire freaking day. Who even are these people? My parenting philosophy is ideally more like a money painting. It's awesome from far away.

So Ive been thinking about this more today, and I think parenting is just like everything else in that you have to have the bitter to appreciate the sweet and it just is not realistic to only have sweet and wonderful all the time in life.

I can't believe how big the "babies" are getting! They definately are not babies any more--they are "big" boys. Marcus is going to look huge when his new little brother makes an appearance. I remember how small Tim looked until I brought Alecia home...has it really been over 30 yrs ago!!
