My project

First off, I bet a bunch of you will be checking in to see what the gender of our baby is and I will tell you, but not today. See, my sister is getting married on Tuesday and I want to tell my family in person, and if I let the cat out of the bag here . . . well, it wouldn't work. The big news will be broadcast via the blog next week.

But without further ado, here is my latest (and greatest) project!

Our computer area/desk has been a source of annoyance to me for awhile now, so with my burst of second trimester nesting energy I decided to solve the problem. I found this computer armoire on craigslist for $50 and then I painted it RED.

It took a lot of coats (4, maybe) and the black still shows through a bit, but I actually like that. I think it makes it look a little aged and classic looking. Also, if my boys run into it and more black shows through, I won't be mad :)

And the best part is that all the computer stuff can disappear when I close the doors. Magical!
