Go A's!!!
This year it's been a cold, windy, and often wet spring here in Boise, and we know this first hand because we were out there each evening for our first adventure into T-ball. Somehow Tim was asked to be coach this year and because we are a little naive and perhaps a little young and stupid :) he accepted and the adventure began. It was sometimes hard juggling all of our schedules, but it was so worth it to see Marcus have such a great time and to see those kids fall in love with Coach Tim. Tim was really patient and kind with his little team and I think those kids really had a wonderful experience which was really what Tim was striving for. I don't think that Marcus will play professionally or even in school someday--he's a little more of a social butterfly and would rather chat with anyone and everyone around him than actually watch for the ball--and if you asked him what his favorite part of T-ball was he'd probably answer, "The snacks at the end!" We're just glad he had a good time and was always excited to be there with the other kids and his dad.
At the end of the season, we had a pizza party and the kids were presented with trophies that had their names on them--Marcus said, "Mom, my name won't wipe off! It's really carved on there!" And unknown to us, they'd gotten a plaque for Tim. We thought that was really nice and Tim loved getting it and sharing in the success of a good season with all the parents and his proud little players. Go A's!!

So cute! I always remember my dad coaching or co-coaching my sports growing up and it meant so much to me. Way to go Tim (and you too Katie)!
That is awesome! Good job A's! And Tim and Marcus!
I loved this. Good for Tim. Kids need good examples. It also reminds me of Gary's first t-ball game when he got a hit he ran toward third base but the coach turned him around and off he went to first.
I love how much you love being a mother :) That smile of Marcus' is adorable!
It was fun being able to see Marcus play and Tim coach on their last game. Thanks for letting us share in the pizza treat & ceremony.
Marcus was very cute on the ball field.
