Father's Day

Ever since Tim saw Ralph Macchio on Dancing with the Stars he's been talking about The Karate Kid and how much he wanted to see it again. When I told him I'd never seen the movie, I think he may have passed out from shock and utter disappointment that he married someone who hadn't seen such an "awesome" movie. Poor Tim, I wasn't much of a fan of Red Dawn either (another Tim favorite). So, because we adore Tim and think he's the best husband and father in the entire world, we decided to get him The Karate Kid and some yummy movie treats for Father's Day. Marcus is crappy at keeping secrets (is there a six-year-old that's good at it?) so he told Tim that we'd gotten him a movie for Father's Day, but he was careful to add, "But I'm not telling you which one!" Nice, Marcus. That evening we watched the movie together and there's been a lot of "hi-ya's" around here ever since (mostly from Tim). Happy Fathers Day to the best guy in the world.
