Their birthday fell on Thanksgiving Day this year and even though we would have plenty of pie (and other yummy food), we still made them two birthday cakes to enjoy.
Easy cakes, but fun for the boys. I think Marcus decided that the basketball was for Owen and the baseball was for Eli.

Eli is famous for his sweet tooth. He literally inhaled his piece of cake.
We got the boys a stand 'n play wheelie set for their birthday. It only came with two cars, but I like to think of myself as a wise mother and I knew that there would be another brother who'd be interested in playing with it as well so we gave them another pack of 4 cars, too. They also received some Veggie Tales silly song movies (Eli is obsessed). It was a happy time for them.
I can hardly believe that two years have passed since these little men entered our lives and rocked our worlds. They have brought so much chaos to my life, but it's a joyous sort of chaos :) I love them both so very very much and can't imagine a world without them. Happy Birthday to my sweet moose boy Owen and my little curly haired no bum Eli. Mama loves you.
