Tonight for Family Night, we cut our bright orange pumpkin off the vine (we only got one in our garden this year--bummer) and we all took a turn hefting it--watching Owen was the funniest. Tim pretended to throw it at everyone's face and Marcus fell for it :) Then we all marched the orange beauty out to our front porch (amidst me going on about "the fruits of our labors") where we proudly placed it on the "pumpkin stone" (a paver near our front door) and clapped and gave each other high fives. Then we went inside and found Monster Mash on youtube and had a little dance party. Family Night totally rocks.
