Sharing the birthday love

It's a little blurry, but this picture still makes me really happy. We took this while we were eating amazing chocolate cake from the Cheesecake Factory by the lovely river--it would have been perfect if it weren't for the crazy bloodthirsty mosquitoes--shortly after this picture, we escaped to the van and finished our cake there.

The amazing chocolate cake before we devoured it.

The date night with Tim was on Wed. We went to Olive Garden (whatever, food snobs, I still love my Olive Garden!) and then we walked over to the mall where Tim announced, "For your birthday, you can have ANYTHING in this entire mall!" Wow, right? Lucky for him I am the one who manages our family finances so he knew he was pretty safe saying that :)

We wandered around and I got three cute shirts and had a lot of fun shopping with him. Maybe we should go shopping together more often? What do you think, Timmy?

Then on my actual birthday Tim made me a lovely cake. It didn't quite turn out like he'd planned, but it was still very tasty. Marcus put the candles in and had a blast because he got to do it however he wanted--it just added to the cake's awesomeness. FYI, though, enjoy these creative cake pics while you can, because Tim said, and I quote, "Next year, I'm just getting you an ice cream cake."

You could have teased him and tried on some stuff at the jewelry store:). Good choice on clothes, I would have gone for that too. Coldstone Ice creamery has ice cream cake that is SO yummy, just saying. Happy Birthday!

The first picture of you cake I was thinking, "wow that's a cool looking cake", between the glow from the candles and the crazy candles I was just thinking it was suppose to look that way. So if you hadn't have said anything I would have keep thinking he had created this masterpiece! Glad you had a fun day!

Your man makes you cake? Wow!! Maybe I should move away from family so Ben wouldn't be off the hook. Happy Birthday. Are you freaking out about next year too?
