Friday was a good day

First, we got to go to Marcus's preschool for an Easter egg hunt . . .

and some yummy cake and chocolate milk.

Here we are in our latest and greatest Richey Family Picture Extraordinaire!!

Then, Tim and I ditched the kids and headed off to the Rock And Worship Roadshow!!! Maybe you didn't know this about me (and Tim) but we LOVE Christian music. Okay, maybe me more than Tim, but he definitely LIKES Christian music :) We went to this concert last year and it was totally awesome so we planned to go this year, too. Then, my sister-in-law KayLyn won tickets and backstage passes and she gave them to us!!! It was really incredible. We had amazing seats and we got to meet Mercy Me (some of you may recognize this song) which was really amazing. It was a fun night.

Tim and I are beaming. Really, it was super super super cool.

Oh, and don't worry, we don't raise our hands like the other hard core Christian music fans and we don't answer back during the prayer . . . yet. Give us a few more years and we might, we just might :)

Ooooh we love Christian music too! It's really big out here in Oregon and Washington. A group I've started liking is Casting Crowns. I also love Mercy Me.

Lucky!

I love that song! You know you will have good (words and music)at those concerts. I sang one of Mercy Me's Christmas songs at our Coralation of Church's Christmas Concert that they do every year... it's a new experience see how other Christians Pray.. worship..etc. Some of the Pasters that said the prayers at the Christmas concert I didn't even know were praying... oops!! Looks like it was a ton of fun!
