It's going to be pretty hard to top this field trip. Even as I write this I can hear him in the bathroom singing "The wheels on the bus" to himself. During the field trip and all day after, he kept saying, "This is the best day." Oh, and I know he isn't looking at the camera in this picture but that's probably because it is hard to focus on a camera when there are all of . . .

these little friends running around. These are the two classes at Marcus's preschool. Marcus (big shocker--not) is the tallest kid in the school. That guy in the middle is actually a sibling to one of the preschool kids. He's in afternoon kindergarten. Oh, and his name is Owen, too. We chatted about how cool that name is :)

In front of the Nature Center. It was so beautiful. The kids loved looking at the fish and I loved visiting with all the moms.

Marcus told me that we were going on a date. Anytime we go anywhere together without the brothers, he calls it a date. This is our self portrait on the bus.

He smiled the entire time, he looked out the window most of the time, he talked the entire time, and we saw two cement mixers and a dump truck
while we were riding on the bus. Can you say, died and gone to heaven? It was a wonderful experience for him and definitely an awesome parenting moment for me.

How awesome!!! Isaac would've been in hog heaven, too. Alayna has her first kindergarten fieldtrip on Friday! Thanks for the idea to bring my camera!
That was so awesome for you guys!! That is so cool too that he loved riding on the bus. Some kids would've been terrified. You guys look so good and happy!!
Marcus, Tyler was so excited to see you with a school bus. Now he wants to go on a bus with you. We can't wait to see you buddy in a few days. We love you.
He looks sooo excited! What a fun "date"! :)
Well I must say that I am very jealous of Marcus! I want to go on a field trip and see dump trucks and mixers while riding on a bus! I actually have a lot of good memories of riding on buses for sporting events. Trying to sleep on one is an adventure all by itself!
Marcus...I am so pleased that you had so much fun on the bus and during your fieldtrip! I used to go on fieldtrips with our daddy when he was little. KayLyn and I got to go see Seseme Street in Pocatello when she was your age and she saw Big Bird! I hope you have plenty more "dates" with your mom...love you!
What a blessed child.
I need to have a "date" with Wyatt and Preston. You get so busy it's good to have a break and just have ONE kid with you sometimes. Hey 2 of my HS friends siblings married eachother and just had identical triplet girls (NO intervention) if you want to check it out their blog is bottfamilytriplets.blogspot.com thought you might enjoy that.
