Today, I looked at the calendar and thought
Oh my, where has September gone? It's strange too, because I can't really put my finger on anything specific that has kept me away from my blog or the internet--just a general busyness that I guess comes from the shift in our routine from one season to the next (oh, daily park lunches how we miss you!) Also, lately I've just wanted to read and read--not so much write, so I've been gobbling up a few new books and rereading some old dear ones. Then, of course, there is always the family element. My three boys (4 if you want to count Tim, and I do) are keeping me on my toes, especially now that Owen is all over the place and Eli is not too far behind him. They are almost 10 months old. I can't believe it. Tim's promotion has also meant longer hours which has meant a more tired me--the travel months are coming (fall seems to be when he travels a lot) so I'm just gearing up and trying to get my fill of him before he leaves, as if that were possible.
Oh, and guess who's going to preschool!! Marcus attends three times a week for two hours at a time and we all just couldn't be any happier. I think the only preschool that may be cooler than his is
this one. His teacher is so wonderful and has been teaching for 30 years. The other kids are cute and their parents are nice and guess what?! Just guess! We are riding a school bus next week. If you know Marcus at all, you will understand that this is almost better than Christmas for him. I'm going on the field trip, too, and I think seeing his face light up when he climbs onto that bus
will be better than Christmas for me.

I saw that video on Sesame Street one day with the girls, and I nearly died laughing. Heidi is in preschool too now, and loves it. She'd be jealous of that school bus ride though... Good luck with those mobile twins!
Marcus, that is so great! I hope that you have great week in preschool! Tyler would love to be there with you on the school bus, he wants to ride on one too.
how fun that he gets to get on the bus. I hope you are able to catch his sweet face of excitement! Love the catching up with you....your family is great!

Well, that was a great school. Have fun on the bus. I wish I could be there to meet you when you got off at home again. We'd go get a donut. Love Grandma
