When I turned 20, I started a little birthday tradition for myself. Each year in my journal I write a sort of Year in Review list and then make a list of goals and things I'd like to see happen during the next year. I've taken to sharing my list with Tim and it is fun to see what did and didn't happen. Here are a few of the goals from last year's list--some were realized and others I'll move to this year's list where I can keep working on them.
--give birth to two healthy boys at the end of November or early December
--have a cute nursery created out of our guest room for these boys
--sell CR-V and buy a mini van, all while keeping our car payment the same (or less)
--Be a stellar mother of three
--improve my scripture study and personal prayer
--lose the baby weight I am currently packing on and be back in my old clothes by my next birthday
--continue to try and stay in better contact with family and other loved ones
--continue to landscape yard and get grass growing, more shrubs planted etc.
Writing this list has made me want to dig up my old journal. I wonder what kind of goals I wrote when I turned 20 . . .
