Our traditional "Mother's Day photo in the backyard while wearing Sunday clothes" shot.
I'm still in love with their matching Easter shirts.

Our old camera has been on the fritz for awhile now, making any pictures I've taken look all pink and melted--like a Polaroid that's been left in the sun, so for Mother's Day my four guys got me a lovely new camera. Really, this is a gift for all of us, blog readers, because it means that you will get more pictures and probably more posts in the future. Oh, Happiness!
I had a really nice Mother's Day. It started off with a yummy breakfast of crepes filled with Nutella and sliced bananas and topped with homemade strawberry jam. I could have died and gone to heaven a happy woman after eating those. Like I mentioned before, the boys gave me a new camera and then that morning over breakfast they told me to look outside and there were two lovely hanging baskets. Those are the best kind of flowers to get because I'll get to look at them all summer long. Church was nice. The primary kids sang the required Mother's Day songs, but Marcus refused to go up and sing. That night, I sang him one of the songs at bedtime and he said, "Hey! We sing that in Primary." I said, "Yes, I know. Will you sing it for me?" "No." "Will you sing it with me?" "No." Maybe next year.
Warm weather means BARBECUES!! We had hamburgers the other night. We bring out the toys so Owen and Eli can enjoy the weather, too.
On Saturday, some friends and I did the Race for the Cure. It was a beautiful day and we had a fun time. I think we'll probably make a tradition out of it. My friend, Danielle, is an artist--she paints the scenes on store windows, so she decided to embellish our shirts a little bit. Our team name was "Busting Out" and we each had this lovely lady drawn onto our back right shoulders. Fun times.
No post is really complete without a shot of the precious boys. They continue to bring us so much joy.

What adorable kiddos! Looks like you've been up to a lot of fun.
Sounds like a great Mother's day. The boys, all three are getting so big. Are you going to make the Gifford reunion this year? I can't wait to meet the two little ones. I think CJ and Marcus will have fun playing together! Fun and cute pictures all around!
Oh, another nutella and crepes fan. That is our favorite too. I'm glad you had a good mother's day.
Is Owen trying to show everyone his favoite thing about his Mom!!!
JK... Cute Kiddo's.. Sounds like you had a wonderful day.
Oh, I have been craving crepes with Nutella. I think that Christine and I will make them on Saturday or Sunday morning this week. Those babies are getting so big! I need to call you and talk to you about Marcus' birthday and what he wants, so hopefully I will remember to call this weekend if not before. :)
Katie, I can't believe how big your boys are. It makes me sad and excited for my boys to get that big. How did you do it? I think I'll have a lot of questions for you!
Glad you had such a wonderful Mother's Day weekend...I know I enjoyed spending time with my Idaho family on Sunday! The boys are all very adorable...so is their mother!!!
