6 months

Owen is rockin the hat and the double chin.

Nope, they're definitely not identical.

We took the boys in for their six month visit with Dr. C and they are both looking really good. Here are the stats:

Owen

weight: 17.11 lbs 54%
height: 27 inches 71%
Eli
weight: 15.11 lbs 18%
height: 26 inches 34 %

How does one inch make such a difference in the percentiles?

So, yeah, Eli is still my runt baby, but when we came home and looked at Marcus's baby book, it turns out that Eli is actually a little bigger than Marcus was at six months and Marcus turned out okay (right?) and now he's as tall as some of the six-year-olds at the playground, so whatever. And we have to laugh because we think Owen is such a moose boy but that is just because compared to Eli he is a chunk--really, Owen is just your average sized six-month-old.

Also, Owen has sprouted his first tooth!! It's one of his front ones on the bottom and it is super precious (and will continue to be so unless he bites me). We are officially bringing on the solids, so we celebrated their doctor visit with yummy rice cookies that literally melt in your mouth and your hands. The boys were very thrilled with their little treat. I've decided I'm going to be making my own baby food so if anyone has any tips as far as that adventure goes, I would be only too happy to hear. Thanks in advance.

Where does time fly. Crazy. They are so adorable. I can't beleive that one inch makes that bit of a difference either. I love the hats. So adorable!

I can't believe your babies are already 6 months old. They are super cute. Yay for you for making it this far and still being relatively sane!

I love seeing them. So cute! Cook and puree a bunch of baby food at a time then freeze it in ice-cube trays. Then you can just unfreeze 1 serving (or 2) at a time.

Okay, perhaps they are not identical, but they are DEFINITELY twins.
