Remember him?
My recent posts might lead one to think that I have forgotten that I have an older child, but fear not, we are very well aware that he is happy, healthy and living in our midst. Allow me to elaborate:
Marcus asks LOTS of questions. The other day, we were driving to the library and he told me to drive faster. When I explained to him that I couldn't go any faster because of the speed limit he wanted to know more about that and then he wanted to know why I would get in trouble if I went fast and on and on and on. When I'm on the phone, he wants to know who I'm talking to and what I'm talking about. Does anyone else out there think 3-year-olds are similar to stalkers?
He's also taken to using our words against us. For example:
Tim was running late the other day (Tim is Mr. Punctual) and he was getting a little perturbed. Marcus said, "Calm down."
Then when I was getting a little flustered because he wouldn't clean up his game he said, "Don't be sassy."
Finally, when Tim came home early on Friday and Marcus saw him he said, "Hey, it's not dinner yet!"
While we're on the topic of dinner, the other night while we were eating he turned to Tim and said, "Thank you for coming home from work so we could have dinner."
And does anyone else have days like this? All the time, people. All. The. Time.
I was making dinner the other night and all of the boys wanted to be with me. Marcus got a little creative and squeezed himself into a carseat.

Three year old boys are definitely their own special brand of crazy. Love the crocs and socks look! We have that look down at our house also.
Gosh you have such good looking kids!!! Thank you for your post on Marcus it just gives me something to look forward to when Syd gets that old and probably that way. I really can't wait, but at the same time I am enjoying every minute that I have with her now at this stage. Love ya guys!
You've described a 3 year old perfectly. Sometimes I think the only word in their vocabulary is "Why?" And that answer always gets another "Why?" After a 100 of those I can only say, "Just Because"
That kid is definitely entertaining! Love the new haircut, and I am not at all surprised by his daddy's reaction to it.
I know I see you often but I still like to check out your blog. It always gives me a good laugh!
What a funny little fella! That clip from "Family Guy" is quite hilarious. It's too bad that show has to be so dirty, because it really can be funny. Don't ask how I know this, I just do! All your kids are getting so big and all quite adorable indeed!
We definitely have some sort of strange need for attention and being held that inconveniently arrives every day at the precise time I am in the middle of making dinner. Why DOES this happen?
You make me laugh! I sooooo relate. My difference is I have 5 kids all wanting me all at the same time and a MIA Daddy during the week. Arn't resturants wonderful sometimes!! Thanks for helping all of us Mommies know were not alone.
I love Marcus' hair cut and KayLyn told me that he didn't even cry! Lookin' good, Marcus. You are a wonderful mother, keep up the good work and enjoy each moment like I said before. Love you!
