Easter Festivities (or not)
This year I decided to be a really cool mom and celebrate Easter with style. I bought the boys cute matching shirts, got some fun stuff for Marcus's Easter basket, made bunny cookies, and even got cinnamon bread for a french toast breakfast on Easter morning. Unfortunately, my plans were dashed when Marcus got sick. Really sick. On Friday, he came up to me and said, "Mom, I want to go take a nap," and then he slept for two hours. On Saturday, he hardly moved from the couch. On Sunday morning he was a little better but by that evening he was doing poorly again. It was pretty sad. Today, he seems much better but still sounds pretty congested. We did make it to sacrament meeting on Sunday and Bryon and Ann's for dinner so that was nice, and Tim and I really enjoyed the french toast breakfast, bunny cookies, and Easter basket candy even if poor Marcus didn't. Oh well.

Marcus is getting so big! I'm sorry to hear he was sick, but you went all out!

I am glad Marcus is feeling a little better, but I was grateful you were still able to come over yesterday for Easter dinner. And KayLyn's dessert is still good!

Those boys are so adorable! The babies are getting so chunky that I can't tell them apart in that last picture!! No....this can't be happening. I need to see them again. They must not grow up any more until I see them. :)
I am so sorry that Marcus was sick. I have had a cold for a week now too. Not fun. Tell them all hi for me!
Been there, done that. Last year 3 of us were throwing up all weekend. But I'm glad you guys got to enjoy the good food. Your boys are so cute. But how come you didn't get any red hair?
