Size

Obviously, I have noticed some differences between this pregnancy and my pregnancy with Marcus. The most noticeable difference is size. On Friday, Tim and I went to the temple and I had to squeeze into my dress (really, I felt a little obscene because it was so tight). I wore that very same dress until the end of my pregnancy with Marcus. I've also pulled out all of my old maternity clothes and am a little dismayed to find that while several fit the belly they do not fit across my ever-expanding chest. I've already had to move up a letter in that department and I think this bra will have to be swapped in the next month or so for a letter even further down the alphabet. The saddest thing to date though, has been the retirement of my trusty black skirt. Again, it got me through my entire pregnancy before, but yesterday it felt uncomfortably tight on my belly and that made sitting for 3 hours pure torture.

I am 22 weeks along, people. By the end of this, I will be wearing nothing but stretch pants and my husband's shirts. Oh, who am I kidding? Even those probably won't fit anymore. I'll be wearing tent dresses from the Big and Tall store. Good times.

Now, I think I'll go make myself a milkshake . . .

Wow, that has to be frustrating but I love that you still have a sense of humor and hope you are enjoying every minute. I love how you describe everything...seriously seeing how I will probably not ever be able to get pregnant it is fun to have someone actually describe how it really is! I hope you enjoyed you milkshake...

I feel your pain, at least in my own way. I have less than a month until I have this baby, and I finally realized that I had no choice but to buy a new pair of shorts to get me through the next few weeks. I was having to rub myself down with vaseline to squeeze into my other pair, so I guess the time was right. :) But I was so close!! That's what I get for having babies in different seasons, I guess...

You're more than halfway there! How exciting is that??

Katie! It's all about the mumus. Do we need to take you to D.I. to pick some up?

I just looked online for a few hours to help Bethany find something to wear since she's in your same boat. She ended up finding this cute maternity dress from GAP I think. Yay for twins!

My younger sisters are twins, and we have the funniest picture of me and my two older sisters with my mom, right before she went to the hospital to have the twins. She is very big and wearing a mumu (just like someone else commented about wearing mumus), and it is one of the best pictures ever. I think I should find it and email it to you, so you can laugh and know you're not alone. :) I'm sure you still look great, so I wouldn't worry about the size!

The good news it that you get to buy a bunch of new maternity clothes. The bad news is you have to buy a bunch of new maternity clothes. :) At least you are getting two kids for the price of one.
