The cake(s)
Okay, this is the last birthday post--I promise. I just wanted to give you all a better look at the dinosaur cake. I used two round cakes and cut the first in half and stuck it together to make the body and I cut the second cake up into various pieces for the rest of the dinosaur appendages. It sounded like Thanksgiving dinner when we cut it up, "Who wants a leg? Who wants the head? The tail?" and so forth. The other pic is of the cake that Marcus decorated while I was working on his dinosaur cake. We even lit the candles on his cake and he got to blow those ones out too. Good times.

Fun, fun, fun. I'm still trying to decide how to do Mark's cake, hmm,a dino's a cute idea. (I love the idea to let hime decorate his own cake while you're doing the main one. Brilliant.)
Wow! Your cake skills are amazing. I'm thoroughly impressed
Very nice. Very creative. My little boy would have loved this for his birthday. He loves dinosaurs.
Happy Birthday Marcus!

I love the cake. I am glad that you posted another picture. I have wanted to see it up close! I may have to borrow this idea in the future for CJ!

The cake tasted as good as it looked! It was fun watching Marcus blow out his candles. He got so close that we thought he would burn his lips on the candle flame! He had fun :-)
