Inspired by my sister (the queen of self-photography), I decided to send you all a little picture of me on New Year's Eve so that you can feel the love that I am sending your way. I hope each and every one of you have a glorious 2008, and may all your dreams come true (even the ones where you win a million dollars and retire to exotic locations).

Look at you! You look so cute. What did you guys do for New Years? I never did ask you yesterday.
Totally unrelated to your post as usual, but any good reads lately besides the one you have on the blog. I need to find a new book to read and quit watching so much TV! Happy New Year!
Alecia: Thanks. We went to a neighbor's house for a party. Lot's of good food, nice people, and fun games. Marcus spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Lot's of fun all around :)
Melissa: Do I have recommendations?!! Of course I do! Here are a bunch and then you can pick and choose what sounds good to you.
Peace Like a River by Leif Enger
Charms for the Easy Life by Kaye Gibbons
The Witch of Blackbird Pond Elizabeth Sharpe
Confessions of a Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella
Bel Canto by Ann Patchett
Mrs. Mike by Benedict Freedman
Stephenie Meyer's series
Harry Potter series
Anne of Green Gables series
Anyway, there's a few to get you started :) If you have any recommendations for me, I'd love to hear them.
Looks like you had a fun New Year's Eve. If I do will the million and retire to an exotic location, I'll pay for you guys to come visit since you will be the reason I win.
You look so cute in this picture!!! I'm glad you had such a good time for New Year's! How nice that Marcus was able to stay at G'pa and G'ma's house!!
What a grat self portrait! I love it. You have the best smile. It makes me smile every time I see it. Thanks for the wishes and I wish them right back at you!
