I've been tagged a few times by different people, so without further ado here are eight interesting things about me. Enjoy!!
1. We have a laundry day at my house. It is Monday and we adhere to it quite strictly.
2. I tend to go through short obsessive spurts over things. I believe this is actually a good thing because it allows me to know at least a little about a lot. My latest obsessions have been: digital scrapbooking and landscaping. Honestly, when I come out of these obsessive spurts I feel something close to withdrawals. It's really weird.
3. I've been published in a real live book that you can buy. It's called The Essentials of Literature in English Post-1914: Everything you need to know about modern literature in English. I got paid $90.00 and received a free copy of the book.
4. I've been in three Relief Society presidencies--can you see why I feel like a fish out of water as a Laurel Advisor?
5. I don't like cleaning muffin tins, bathtubs, or emptying the dishwasher.
6. I'm not very good about answering my phone, but I will always answer it if it is Tim. That does not mean I love any of you less, I just love Tim more :)
7. A murder took place just feet from my front door while I lived in Provo. It was a domestic dispute and the detectives came and asked us questions. Yes, I saw the body. It was terrible.
8. I'm the oldest in my family and I married Tim who is the oldest in his family. My brother, Gary, married a second oldest just like him, and then my brother, Kevin, married a third oldest just like him. I'd never thought about this until my mom pointed it out to me. Pretty unique. Now Emma just needs to marry a youngest (but not for awhile).

Is there a way to mix landscape and scrapbook design together? Maybe make a garden like a scrap or take pics of garden shapes and scan for digi scrapping...
No cost digital scrapbooking @ http://www.ScrapbookGenerator.com (upload photo, choose free template, print)
That's so cool that you have been published and I can say that I know a famous person! Also, I noticed your reference to The Finer Things Club. The Office is the best and on tonight, YIPEE!
Okay, sorry to be a dork and leave yet another comment. I just wanted to mention that my last calling was Laurel advisor and I also felt like a fish out of water, mostly because I felt like I wasn't much older (or I guess I should say mature!) than the girls in there. I've also been in 3 R.S. presidences, we're kindred spirits!
Fun facts about you. I am glad that you got tagged! I enjoyed getting to know a bit more about you. You are awesome!
Did #7 happen on 400 West? So sorry you had to see that! Fun info!
Muffin tins are the worst! Love the list.
Thanks for sharing the little known facts about you! I can't believe you were that close to the murder! How scary!! I definitely have to agree with you about the muffin tins....HATE IT!!!
I totally remember when that murder happened!! I also despise emptying the dishwasher, and it is always a happy surprise when Jeff does it for me. These are some good facts about you. Also, I love that picture of Marcus reading. We have some of Heidi reading in her bed after she fell asleep. This happened several times. The book was like still propped up on her tummy, and she was holding it, but she was sleeping. It is good to see children so interested in books!
I still love how we came home from Vegas and Mike was like, "Why were the kids next door playing with police tape?" A murder was so far from our mind that was the only logical possiblility--you know, of course little kids always have police tape laying around. I'm so sorry you had to see the body and that we missed all the action.
We lived in this apartment complex when we first moved here that is totally ghetto and full of gang members. Every time I went outside I'd just tell myself, "There was a murder next door in my last place. I will be fine." Anyway, it was fun to read your list.
Melissa: We are obsessed with our Thursday night lineup. We love The Office :) Oh, and yes, we are definitely kindred spirits.
Jill: It happened at our second apartment 700 S. and 400 W. You guys lived by us at our first apartment.
To all who hate muffin tins: Let's start a club.
Adrianne: Yep, we can live in any ghetto too (and did when we first moved to Boise) because, "There was a murder next door to our old apartment and we were fine." You guys were such good neighbors.
Luckily I know most of these things about you and I really love having you in our family. You are my favorite daughter-in-law and always will be!!!! Love you!
