I haven't written a latest and greatest post about Marcus in awhile and it feels overdue. Also, he's been especially whiny and belligerent today and I think this post will do a good job of reminding me how awesome he is and how blessed I am to have him in my life.
This is our very newest picture of Marcus. I took it on Sunday at Tim's cousin's baby's blessing (got that?) in Twin Falls. It was a beautiful day and the kids were running around outside and having so much fun. It was also the very first time Marcus wore a tie. We tried to get him to stand still for just a moment so I could snap a picture but this was the best I got. I like it though.
I will never ever get enough of those beautiful blue eyes. All 1 1/2 of them :)
This is the picture I took to show you how big he really is getting. We finally made it to the doctor for his 2 year wellness visit in September (yes, he turned 2 in June--yikes!) and here are the stats: Weight: 35 lbs. 96th percentile. Height 38 in. 98th percentile. The kid is enormous. He is both taller and heavier than his daddy was at that age. Tim couldn't be happier.
The obsession with trucks continues. His newest thing is watching the truck commercials on the internet. He is most happy when he's watching them with the earphones on. His vocabulary is exploding now and he will repeat anything you say. He's learned several new words and it is so fun to hear his little voice. My favorite word he says is, "school bus." It just sounds really cute. He still doesn't say, "mom" or "mama" or anything like that. He calls Tim "Da." Whenever he is looking for me he just shouts, "Ah? Ah?" until I say, "I'm in here," and then he comes running. So until he says "mom" or "mama" or even "Katie," "school bus" will be my favorite word :)
Oh, and he enjoys eating. If you really want to see him smile, tell him we're having chicken nuggets. It will Make. His. Day.

How cute does he look in his little Sunday outfit. He looks like he would never be naughty, so cute!
He's such a big boy! So handsome and cute all at the same time. Also, his stats--that kid IS enormous! Can you even pick him up anymore, or does he mostly get around on his own? I keep telling Patrick his getting picked up days are numbered!
The whiny and belligerent two year olds are still all too lovable; we know how that goes. :) He is a cutie.

I can't believe how big he is. He weighs more than Rusty and he is 3 years old. He is adorable.

What a VERY handsome little fellow...so grown up looking! I see him at least every week or so & I can't believe how big he is every time I see him! I love all these pictures...thanks for sharing, again!
OK I think he's bigger than Savannah! At least the same size. Crazy. What a cute little boy.
