I always knew my children would be friends with my friends' children

I believe that Marcus found his soul mate while we were in Utah and it wasn't a girl. Xander is my friend Melissa's boy (she's a buddy from high school). She lives in a more accessible city now, so we finally got together after much too much time apart and who would have known--our boys took to each other like chocolate to peanut butter. They ran around together laughing and talking. They both thought the exact same things were hilarious. They both loved the train set. The both loved the motorcycles from the kids meals. They both thought laying upside down on the couch was the coolest thing ever. The best was when they started copying each other. Marcus would touch his head, so Xander would too. Xander would jump, Marcus jumped too. I have never seen Marcus connect with another kid like this ever. It was so wonderful to watch. Just look at them. We thought that look was unique to Marcus--turns out his best friend can pull the open mouth look off too :)

I admit that this picture was staged. Whatever. Aub and I were just putting into reality the vibe that was floating around between these two. Okay, maybe not--but aren't they just the most adorable little couple ever? And someday when they get married so that their mothers can finally be really related, this picture will look great on their wedding video and Aub and I can lean back in our rocking chairs and say, "See, I knew these younguns would end up together."

What cute pictures! I love how the boys faces look identical and I love that Marcus has a little lady friend, adorable!

Isn't it great when they make little friends? I'm glad you got to go and visit some friends and that Marcus got to make some.

You are so funny, I love the staged picture. IT will be fun to see if it works! I love how the boys even have the same facial expression.
