Family Night Treat

It just doesn't get any better than this. I made raspberry freezer jam with the raspberries from our backyard and then decided to make homemade bread to go with the jam. I mean let's face it, homemade jam deserves to be eaten with homemade bread, right? Anyway, we polished off one loaf and it was delicious. Here are some pictures of us enjoying the bliss that is good food.

Emma just dyed her hair. I think it looks smashing next to the pink hue of the jam.

Marcus licked all the jam off of his piece and then demanded another layer of jam before he would finish the bread. Yes, the cook was flattered.

I'm thinking, Wow, sometimes I even amaze myself. This is freaking good.

Tim cannot blame me for the weird face he's making in this picture because he always insists on making a weird face whenever I point the camera in his direction.

That picture of Tim is priceless. That's not exactly how I remember him. Maybe he could do that for your next family photo. Ben has the same habit of weird faces and Lexi has picked up on it too.

Tim is hilarious! I need to come to your house for treats. There is nothing better than home made bread with home made jam! Yummy!

Aub: It's only a matter of time before Marcus picks up on it too.

Tammy: You guys are welcome anytime. I'm sure Marcus would love to play with CJ.

Jen: Coming from you (the Domestic Diva) that is a real compliment. Thanks :)

Megan: How about a trade? Your homemade oreos for my homemade bread and jam?

Looks so good Katie! I wish we lived next door still so we could steal some of your bread and jam!

you could bring some next week for me, and I would just consider it an early birthday present! That food looks so good!

Adrianne: If you lived next door to me I would bring you jam and you wouldn't have to steal it.

Kris: I check your blog. You're doing great and that is so wonderful. I'll try not to tempt you anymore :)

Janna: Me or my sister?

Alecia: It wouldn't be the same unless the bread was fresh out of the oven. We're excited to see you!

Remember when you gave me apricot jam and I ate it straight out of the jar? Where was the bread then? ROAR! J/k. Your jam is really good with or without homemade bread. (Remember I said that next time we drive through Boise.)

That looks so yummy!! I've been wanting homemade bread, too, but we have no AC here in the house we're renting. :0( There's no way I'm having the oven on for 30 minutes when it's 100 degrees outside. I can't wait until we can buy a house with AC!!!!!!!!
