Katie, you can come fix my house anytime you want to. We have been in our house for almost a year and we are just starting to make changes. By the time it gets done we will move! But, I'm sure you remember our lack of decorating when you lived next door.
If you have any energy left you can come over to my house and help me out with a few things. We are definitely only doing things one room at a time, but you guys are getting LOTS accomplished. Kudos to you!
Adrianne: You had a good excuse though--you were pregnant!
Megan: We wanted to get the big projects done before we had to move furniture around and stuff. Now it's just all the little things and there are LOTS of those.
Aub: Thanks. I went through so much trauma trying to choose a floor. It was a big commitment and I didn't want to mess it up. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out too. Now you just need to come see it in person :)
Niiiiccceee. Makes me want to move to Boise, or pretty much anywhere where you can buy a house for less than $400,000. Home ownership may have to wait until we move to a place where housing costs are a little more under control. Your place looks awesome, and I've done enough DIY to know ya'll have worked your keysters off for it.
Katie, love the blog, very entertaining. This is the link to ours, I think Janna emailed it to you already too. Good luck with the house, it is looking very good.
I can't wait to see your house now that you are really moved in...the last time I was there was when we moved you in...and I live so far away!!! Your home looks great, you should be very proud of yourselves!

I love the floors, especially that you carried it into your dining room. The previous owners wouldn't recognize it. Great job.
Thanks, everyone!!! I live for positive feedback.
