Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes

No, I have not developed a stutter. My title comes from the song. It's on Shrek 2 if you really want my source. Changes are happening around the old Richey homestead. My mom is leaving for India on Monday. She's doing study abroad and will be gone for 5 weeks. She's packed, had her shots, and purchased her jewel to go in the center of her forehead--folks, she is set! She's decided to keep a blog while she is gone, so we can all follow her adventures through India (if she can figure out how to use the internet from India!)

My sister, Emma, is coming to stay with us for awhile. She's going to work up here and pal around with her favorite sister and nephew and brother-in-law for awhile (I can say that because we are her only sister, nephew, and brother-in-law and therefore immediately earn the status of favorite). She just needed a change of scenery and we're hoping she likes it up here in Boise, Idaho. Tim's sister, KayLyn is back on the scene too. She was going to school in Pocatello at the lovely Idaho State University, but she's decided that BSU is the way to go (go Broncos!). Right now she's in Nampa, with Bryon and Ann, but in June she's moving to an apartment in Boise. We are really excited to have her close. So the babies in our families are coming to Boise, now if we could just convince the others that this is the place to be, too.

Wow. I can't imagine my mom in India. Ever. Hurrah for houseguest sisters! I love those! It was fun having Emma over at CollegeT back in the day. I hope you all enjoy each other's company and she enjoys her important role as Marcus's favorite playmate. That's what my kids think of my relatives when they stay with us.
