Would you like my card?

A few nights ago, Tim came home with these little babies. Fun stuff. He has a lot, so feel free to send addresses and we'd be happy to send you one or two or two hundred. Seriously though, we're pretty excited to have a business card. Good times.

On Saturday night I donned my prom dress (thanks for sending it up, Mom) and we went to the company shindig at the Boise Art Museum. Everyone was all dressed up and we ate yummy food and drank fruit juice while others sipped wine or champagne or something alcoholic and we looked at the lovely art. After dinner, we all went into the next room for casino night. They gave everyone play money and we all had a fun time. It was very Office-esque for those who love that show (and don't we all).

The busy season hasn't started yet, so Tim's home everyday around 4:30. I love it.

I've decided to start working. Nothing big, but Marcus has a great naptime routine and my friend told me about this online tutoring from home, so I filled out an application, had an interview/mock session, and today they told me I'd passed my background check (and I was sooo worried about that one). I'm going to be tutoring English and Essay Writing. I'll probably just work around 10 hours a week, but the pay is pretty reasonable and my alternative is surfing the internet during Marcus's naptime--why not be doing some tutoring and getting paid instead? I'll let you know how it goes, but I'm pretty excited. I've always loved tutoring. If anyone's interested, I'd be happy to pass along the information. A head's up though, you do need to have a degree.

Oh, and just so you know, it's freezing here. I can't wait for it to get warm again, although there's nothing like a cup of hot chocolate on a frigid January day. Yummy.

Sean was SO excited about having cards...it's such a real world step.
I've looked into the online tutoring as well but haven't had much luck, esp with the ElEd stuff. I'll have to check that company....if you have any additional info, that'd be great.

First of all, not fair that you fit into your prom dress. I think we need pictures of that.

Amy: Send your e-mail address to me at katierichey@gmail.com and I'll give you some more info.

Aub: First of all, it has an empire waist which works great for my mom hips and belly and it was tight around my bust--tight. I even had to forgo the padded bra to make it fit. Oh well, I was lookin good. Too bad Tim didn't buy me a corsage and take me to see the temple after (that really happened after prom!)Didn't you go to prom with Cameron? I can't seem to remember. Do you still have your dress?

Sweet!! You guys are official now. It will become really official when Tim doesn't get home until 1am and then has to go back again at 7! I didn't really care too much about my first business cards, but when I got my new cards for my promotion, I was really excited. And I think that you need to post a picture of you and Tim all dressed up for your party!

I would so burst my prom dress. Go you. Also, I think I loaned it to one of our roomates and I don't think I ever got it back.

Love the cards. A lot. Good luck with the job, I hope those people realize how luck they are to have you for a tutor.

Jenny Lynn: Who? Nevermind, I'm sure I could guess. Oh well, I'm just glad my mind is still remembering things correctly and I did give it to you.
