A Career Man

Tim started his new job at Eide Bailly yesterday. I took him to work and downtown was hopping with all the excitement of post-Christmas-almost-New Year's. It was exciting to say the least. It turns out they hired four new graduates including Tim, and three of them are LDS and three of them are married and two of them have little kids. It sounds like a nice fit, folks!

Tim is really happy and so am I. I didn't realize there was this weight of "What the heck is going to happen to us after Tim graduates?" until it was removed. It feels really good. Of course he'll be busy with tax season coming up. In fact, they hired him to be in their audit dept. but he and another new hire are going to help out in the tax dept. come February, so he'll be getting some experience on both sides which is good for ultimately helping him decide which he likes better. He came home yesterday with 401k papers and benefits papers and it was AWESOME! Yes, we are thrilled by these sorts of things. Freaky? Probably.

What, you may wonder, am I going to do with myself while Tim is working late or on the road for training or an out-of-town audit? Well, I got a Netflix subscription for Christmas and Veronica Mars and I are going to be solving some mysteries :)
