Project M.F.N.

Okay, so if you were driving down the street and you saw a license plate that read, "MFN" how would you pronounce it? Well, Tim and I are calling it "Muffin" and it refers to our big plans this coming 4th of July weekend. The letters stand for "Marcus Free Night" and we are really excited about it. Yep, that's right, Marcus is going to spend the night at Grandma's house. Yipppee, for us. This is my very first night without Marcus. It's not like I wouldn't have done it sooner, but the opportunity just never came up or we never took it or whatever . . . anyway, it's here now and I'm excited. We thought about Anniversary Inn, but then reality hit and we remembered that we are still starving students so we settled for something a little more reasonable: dinner, movie, our own apt, and sleeping in. Yes, I said SLEEPING IN!!! Now, the fact that we are going out to a movie at the "expensive" theater is rather exciting and frankly, we are viewing it as a once in a lifetime event. Therefore, the big question: What movie should we see? I will entertain all suggestions, so please feel free to offer movie critic or just plain, "It was awesome," advice. Thanks!

Thanks, Amy. Oh, and congratulations on the new job and the new city. What a wonderful thing to have a "life plan." I really hope that great sounding apt. works out for you.

I think I'd have to say go see "Pirates of the Carribean". That comes out this weekend right???

I was thinking that one too, but I think it actually comes out on July 7th and our movie night is going to be the 3rd. Oh well.

I hope you have fun withouth Marcus!
We got to leave Savvy when she was 6 months old for a night and it was great. We haven't done it with Ethan yet since we're so far away from family. I highly recommend taking advantage of that as often as you can!!!

Check out rottentomatoes.com
I really like their movie reviews/rating system.

Thanks for the website tip, Jen. If this first sleepover goes well, we'll definitely have to look into making it a regular sort of thing (every few months or so) that is if Bryon and Ann are game . . .

We left Will with my family when we went back to Utah for a visit for a night. It was a blessed day! It's funny how we all want kids and then can't wait to leave them with someone! I am very excited for you. We aren't going to have that opportunity again for a long, long time because we are so far from any family now. Take advantage of it while you can! Have fun.

We liked Nacho Libre, because we're big fans of Jack Black and we liked Napolean Dynamite. But it's not one that's significantly improved by seeing it on the big screen. You could watch it at home and it would be just as funny.
